What does a corporate film cost in 2027?
In Germany, a corporate film usually costs between €5,000 and €25,000 net (excl. VAT). Guides online quote ranges from around €3,000 to €50,000. With us, a corporate film costs €9,800 net, as a fixed price: with concept, two shoot days, a main film of two to three minutes, testimonials and three social cutdowns. Here’s what that price includes, what makes a corporate film more expensive and how to spot a fair quote.
What the €9,800 fixed price includes
- Concept and storyline, agreed with you before we shoot
- Two shoot days with a crew of two to three
- Main film of 2 to 3 minutes in 16:9 for website, YouTube and trade fairs
- Two to three testimonials, with on-camera coaching
- Three social cutdowns in 9:16 and 1:1
- Music licence, subtitles and two feedback rounds
- Usage rights for twelve months online
The film is finished four to six weeks after the briefing. You get the price in a roadmap 48 hours after the briefing, and it holds as long as the scope does.
What makes a corporate film more expensive
Most guides list the same cost drivers. We add what each one costs with us.
| Cost driver | Why | With us |
|---|---|---|
| Shoot days | The biggest lever: crew, equipment and time on set. | Two are included in the fixed price, each additional one costs €1,900. |
| Locations | Every location means set-up, lighting and travel. | Several locations count as a Campaign, from €19,500. |
| People on camera | Actors need casting, fees and buy-outs. | In the Brand Film your own people appear, with coaching. With a cast it usually becomes a Campaign. |
| Length | Drives the price less than many think. More minutes mainly mean more editing. | Two or three minutes cost the same. |
| Concept | A clear concept saves shoot time and feedback rounds. | Included. A half-day workshop with your team costs €900. |
| Drone | Dedicated equipment, permit and pilot. | €600. |
| Language versions | Subtitles or voice-over for other markets. | €300 per language, AI-assisted and checked by native speakers. |
| Usage rights | TV, cinema or unlimited use cost more than online. | Twelve months online are included, unlimited +30%. |
| Feedback rounds | Every round costs editing time. | Two are included, each additional one costs €300. |
What does a three-minute corporate film cost?
Whether the finished film runs two or three minutes is mainly decided in the edit, not on set. With us, both cost €9,800. What makes a film more expensive is more shoot days, more locations and people who need to be cast.
Our advice: rather a two-minute main film that says why you exist within the first 15 to 30 seconds, plus short cutdowns for social.
Fixed price or range?
| Fixed price | Range or day rate | |
|---|---|---|
| When you know the price | Before the first shoot day, in writing in the roadmap | Often only with the final invoice |
| If the shoot runs longer | Our risk | Usually your cost |
| If the scope changes | A new price before we continue | Billed afterwards |
| Comparing quotes | One amount for a fixed scope | Ranges and line items are hard to compare |
| If the concept doesn’t convince you | Exit after the concept phase, you only pay for the concept | Depends on the contract |
Ranges aren’t dishonest. For large campaigns, shoot days, cast and locations depend so much on the concept that a fixed price up front would be dishonest. That’s why we also quote “from” prices there and turn them into a fixed figure after the briefing. For a corporate film, the scope is clear enough for a fixed price.
How to spot a fair quote
- Shoot days and crew size are stated
- Length and formats of the finished film, cutdowns included
- How many feedback rounds are included
- Music licence and usage rights: where and for how long
- What happens if the scope changes
- When payment is due. With us: 50% when you place the order, 50% on approval of the rough cut
If your budget is smaller
A corporate film with concept, two shoot days and testimonials can hardly be produced properly for much less. If you mainly need material for social, one shoot day is often enough. For that we offer the Content Day for €4,900: one shoot day with two people, 8 vertical clips and 20 stills. If a subscription starts within 60 days, we credit it in full.
Common questions about corporate film costs
What does a corporate film cost?
In Germany, usually between €5,000 and €25,000 net. With us, €9,800 net as a fixed price for the Brand Film package, with concept, two shoot days, main film, testimonials and three cutdowns.
What does a three-minute corporate film cost?
With us, €9,800 net, the same as a two-minute one. Length mainly determines the edit. What makes a film more expensive is more shoot days, more locations and a cast.
How long should a corporate film be?
Two to three minutes for the main film on your website, YouTube and at trade fairs. The first 15 to 30 seconds should say why you exist. For social, we cut short versions in 9:16 and 1:1.
What belongs in a corporate film?
A clear reason why you exist, real people from the company and images of your work. Plus music, subtitles and versions for the channels where you show it.
How long does production take?
Four to six weeks from briefing to delivery. You get the roadmap with fixed price and schedule 48 hours after the briefing.
Does AI make a corporate film cheaper?
In some places, yes. Editing, grading, sound and subtitles are AI-assisted with us, which is why a language version costs only €300. AI doesn’t replace the shoot with real people, and that’s exactly what makes a corporate film credible.
What does a bigger film cost, such as a campaign or a documentary?
Campaigns with a main film or commercial, testimonials and six clips start at €19,500 with us, branded documentaries with a streaming or TV release at €50,000. After the briefing, this becomes a fixed price.
